The Belarusian authorities are ready to involve the Russian Federation in ensuring the country’s security

The Belarusian authorities stated that they are ready “to defend the borders of the Union State and to create the necessary grouping of troops in any direction as soon as possible.”

The head of the Belarusian Defense Ministry Viktor Khrenin said that Belarus is ready to ensure its security, if necessary, together with “the main strategic ally” – Russia. About it informs BelTA on Friday, 12 November.

“The created system of response to any threats and challenges allows us to ensure the security of the country, including, if necessary, with our main strategic ally – the Russian Federation,” Khrenin said.

“We are ready to defend the borders of the Union State and as soon as possible create the necessary grouping of troops in any direction. Attempts to intimidate and blame us without reason make us react adequately to this situation,” the minister added.

According to him, the activity near the borders of Belarus is allegedly “in terms of strength, means and scale is in no way connected with the migration crisis.” According to Khrenin, over 15,000 military personnel are stationed near the western borders of Belarus, air defense systems have been deployed, 12 field camps have been deployed to accommodate Polish troops and equipment.

Recall that earlier Belarus accused Poland of unleashing conflict… Poland allegedly wants to unleash a conflict and drag Europe into it, the Defense Ministry of Belarus claims.
