Spanish singer and songwriter Enrique Iglesias has announced his retirement from music after 30 years of career.
The singer, famous for his hit “Hero”, is preparing to release another album, “Final (Vol. 2)”, which will be his farewell contribution to music.
The 48-year-old Spanish singer, in an interview with TODAY.com on Wednesday, said: “It’s over. It actually comes out in February. It’s completely finished. What I want to do is shoot a video or two right before the second leg of the tour and get it going. »
Reflecting on his musical journey, he said: “ I have been working on this album for many years. And for me, it was always like I said, my last album… that’s it. I don’t think – no, I know, I won’t make any more albums. »

The first single from “Final (Vol. 2),” titled “Así Es La Vida” featuring Maria Beccera, was released in October. Currently engaged in The Trilogy Tour alongside Ricky Martin and Pitbull since mid-October, Iglesias has enjoyed an illustrious and successful career spanning three decades.
