The former Democratic secretary will replace the current dean and president of the board of directors of IE New York, Manuel Munizinforms a note from IE University. “This step represents my great commitment to Spain, a country clearly in vogue and with important contributions to the higher education landscape, and to IE University, a globally recognized institution with a highly diverse student population, excellent teaching staff and an innovative project,” commented Enrico Letta.
Recognized for his political experience at the highest levels both in Italy and in Europe, Letta was President of the Italian Council between 2013 and 2014 and leader of the Democratic Party from 2021 to 2023, as well as Minister of European Affairs in 1998, Minister of ‘Industry from 1999 to 2001 and member of the European Parliament from 2004 to 2009.
