ENNS. The Enns author Harald Hohensinner has already published his ninth book, “Hostile Takeover in Linz”.
Hohensinner began writing books in 2008. “The trigger at the time was a break-in into the house chapel on Kirchenplatz,” he says. Mainly his stories take place in Enns. The new crime thriller, published by Bernhard Bayer, is set in the Upper Austrian capital and abroad. About the content: The managing director of a small planning office in Linz is kidnapped and forced to withdraw two million euros from the company account. Despite resistance, he complies with the request. His kidnappers then send him on a trip and he ends up in Moldova. His company partner is on the verge of ruin when an investor suddenly appears who wants to join the company. Investigators discover a pattern that is cropping up across Europe.
Tip: On Tuesday, August 24th, 7.30 p.m., the author will read from his new crime thriller in the garden of the Gornik / Hohensinner family next to the Enns library (entrance Kirchenplatz). In bad weather, the event takes place in the library.
