Estonian investment research firm ENLIGHT Research has published its report on the 3rd quarter results of listed company Tallink, which showed that profits exceeded analysts’ forecasts despite lower revenues. As a result, ENLIGHT Research continues to forecast healthy charter revenue and is raising its dividend forecast as well as the stock’s intrinsic value.
Despite the fact that the 3rd quarter revenues were 8% less compared to forecasts, EBIT 57 mln. EUR was 31% above analysts’ estimates, as charter revenue boosted profitability. For the whole year 2023 ENLIGHT Research expects EBIT of 116 million EUR, which is 3 times more than in 2022 and 55% more than in 2019 before the pandemic.
