“Tomorrow, cooler air will flow into the country and it will be around 18 degrees,” says Thomas Vermeulen of Buienradar. “There will be several storm areas across the country.”
The sun shines in between. “But at five degrees below average, it feels more autumnal.”
Code yellow
In addition to the rain, the wind in the north will also be a point of attention tomorrow, which can reach heavy gusts of more than 80 kilometers per hour in the northern provinces.
The KNMI has announced code yellow for the Wadden area, the coastal areas of Friesland and Groningen and above the IJsselmeer for tomorrow evening. “Traffic and outdoor activities can be hindered by this,” according to the KNMI.

It looked like it would get warm after next weekend for the past few days, but that forecast has since changed. “It is not a stable summer period. I do not expect much rain next week, but also no high temperatures.”
