Hollywood has once again been the star of another evening on El Hormiguero. Johnny Depp and Riccardo Scamarcio have made their debut on the programme to talk about the superstar’s return to the big screen as a director, and the Italian’s work as a leading actor.
Before starting the interview, Pablo Motos gave the guests two absolutely unique guitars. Johnny began to demonstrate his skill with the instrument. He said that his first love was music and that it was this that “saved him from his own madness.”
After this, the presenter wanted to know how Johnny has dealt with the “change of focus” from being an actor to a director. According to the guest, it has not been easy, but he has simply focused on trying to visualise everything from another point of view.
Another thing that Pablo has been interested in is the selection process that ended with Riccardo Scamarcio as the lead in this film. “While I was driving with my daughter, they called me,” the actor revealed before describing, in great detail, the surreal casting he did.
