Apple TV+ offers many worthwhile series like Ted Lasso, Foundation, The Morning Show, The Shrink Next Door, but also a number of new shows.
If Apple devices natively have an application dedicated to the brand’s streaming platform, this is not the case for Windows owners.
However, this does not mean that it is impossible to enjoy it, on the contrary it is even very easy to install Apple TV+ on PC.
What is Apple TV+?
Launched in November 2019, Apple TV+ is Apple’s television and movie streaming service, which competes with, or complements, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and more.
The selection of films and series is significantly smaller than that offered by its rivals, but the brand has slowly built up a range of bespoke content worth checking out, headlined by big names like Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell, Will Ferrell, Tom Hanks, Paul Rudd, Tom Holland and others.
As for its subscription, if you buy an Apple device, you get three months of free subscription to Apple TV+.
Alternatively, you can subscribe monthly for €4.99/month after seven days of free trial.
If you’re already subscribed to another Apple service, like Apple Music, it might be worth considering upgrading to Apple One, which offers different combinations of plans including Apple Music, Apple Arcade, Apple News+, Apple Fitness+ and iCloud, the everything for €14.99/month.
Watch Apple TV+ on a Windows PC
Although there is no official Apple TV+ app on Windows, you can still go through the web service. The same goes for Chromebooks and, we assume, Linux users. To do this :
- Go to tv.apple.com.
- Click on the option To log in.
- Enter your Apple ID and password
If you don’t have an active Apple TV+ account, you can click the button Efree trial on the home screen and register.
