The hotel makes a good impression, is very quiet at night. It is right across from a shopping center and a tram stop. You can take the train directly into the city without changing and then you are at the Opernplatz. The room was a good size, but there was only TV or breakfast. We chose TV and then booked breakfast in the hotel extra. There were Germans and English people there, we didn’t see more because we were out all day. There were middle aged people and a few younger couples. The hotel is also open to dogs.

Lage

It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop. On the outward journey from the airport we needed 1 1/2 to 2 hours. You had to change trains twice and always ask how things are going on. We ordered a taxi back, it cost 48 euros, but it was more comfortable and took 3/4 hours to get there. The train costs 2.20 euros for a trip because it is in a different zone than the city. We had a 72-hour ticket for Vienna direct. This applies to buses, underground, S-Bahn and Badener Bahn (tram)

Service

The staff at reception and in the bar were very friendly. Room was cleaned every day.

gastronomy

The restaurant was open but you could order from the bar. There was no one in the restaurant, that would have cost 2.50 euros more for cover. The food was very good and was brought quickly. There wasn’t a large selection.

Zimmer

The room was big and everything was good, nothing dirty or broken. The bed was only 90 cm wide but it was fine for a few days. TV programs like in Germany, everything available. The towels are only changed when they are on the floor. The bathtub is very slippery and there is nothing to hold on to. The safe is free.

Value for money / conclusion

There is nothing around the hotel but we were in town every day. We liked the hotel a lot, if we came to Vienna again we would book it again.
