The Tunisian side affirmed its position in support of the return of Syria to its Arab surroundings, and the restoration of its role in the League of Arab States, stressing that the security and stability of Syria is a pillar of the security and stability of the entire region.
Expressing Tunisia’s full solidarity with Syria in the face of the repeated Israeli occupation attacks on its lands, supporting its legitimate right to regain the occupied Golan, and imposing its sovereignty over all of its occupied lands.
The joint statement indicated that the two sides exchanged views and visions on issues of common concern, where it was emphasized that they condemn the systematic Israeli attacks and desecration of sanctities, especially in Al-Quds Al-Sharif, stressing their firm position in supporting the struggle of the brotherly Palestinian people to restore His legitimate and inalienable rights, and the establishment of his independent sovereign state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
The statement stressed the need for concerted Arab efforts to effectively confront the common challenges facing the region in light of the current regional and international transformations.
