An English student successfully used ChatGPT to overturn a fine of almost 70 euros.
Student living in York in the United Kingdom, Millie Houlton had not been able to park her Citroën in its usual location because of works. His mistake earned him a fine of 60 pounds (about 68 euros). To get out of it, it is only natural that she asked ChatGPT to write a letter to the municipal council of her city.
Two days later, she received the response letter: her PV was canceled, she tells the site Insider.

The Brit previously asked generative artificial intelligence to help her summarize her readings for her studies at university.
“I just found it a little easier to use a tool that could help me put my thoughts in writing and get my point across properly,” says Millie.
She claims that the text generated by ChatGPT was very professional and the only changes she had to make were to add personal details. And although she already went into detail in her basic prompt sent to the chatbot, she didn’t have to worry about grammar, format, or the degree of formality in her original text.
The AI developed by OpenAI is already used by some students to write their work, which has led many schools and universities to ban the use of the software.
