Controlled at 158 km / h on a road limited to 90 near Villefranche-sur-Saône, an English motorist driving a Ferrari had his vehicle confiscated on June 28.

This is what the gendarmes of the Rhône commonly call a “red card”. On Wednesday June 28, shortly after 9 a.m., the gendarmes of the motorway platoon who were posted on the D306 at Lucenay, near Villefranche-sur-Saône, checked a motorist at 158 km / h. At the wheel of a Ferrari, this driver was driving more than 60 km / h above the authorized speed on this departmental, limited to 90.

Arrested, he saw his license confiscated by the gendarmes, who then drove his vehicle to the pound. He will be judged in September by the court of Villefranche-sur-Saône, which will have to decide in particular on a possible confiscation of this Ferrari.
