English clubs frightened: South American unions bury hatchet | Football

Soccer players from Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Mexico just play

The English football clubs can still line up their South American internationals this weekend. World football association FIFA announced on Saturday morning that the national associations of Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Mexico have withdrawn their complaints, so that the relevant players have now been released back to the clubs. Almost all English clubs refused to hand over their South American internationals to the national teams, because otherwise the players would have had to quarantine for ten days on return.
