MADRID, 8 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

UEFA has appointed English referee Anthony Taylor to direct the final of the League of Nations that Spain and France will play next Sunday at the San Siro stadium in Milan.

Taylor, who has been an international referee since 2013, has led the Spanish team in three games, the most recent last month, the defeat against Sweden (2-1) in the qualifying phase for the 2022 World Cup. Two other precedents resulted in a victory for Spain, two friendly matches played in 2018 against Argentina (6-1) and Wales (1-4).

As for the French team, with Taylor’s refereeing they have conceded a defeat (2-0 against the Netherlands in the 2018 Nations League) and have added a victory (3-1 in a friendly against France in 2018).
