In England, former PSV players Noni Madueke and Jarrad Branthwaite were on the bench. Young England, who did not have to concede a goal throughout the tournament, was the parent in the opening phase of the final battle. After six minutes, Newcastle United striker Anthony Gordon created the first danger of the game, but after a delay he was unable to shoot.

After twenty minutes Young Spain took over the initiative more and more. However, three good chances did not put the Spaniards in the lead. It was always just not enough on the side of Spain, which kept England alive. In fact, just before the break, Young England took the lead. After hitting the post first, it was Curtis Jones in stoppage time of the first half who put England 1-0 up.

Immediately after the goal, the flame came into the pan. For reasons that are unclear, both camps attacked each other and the arbiter had to sprinkle red on staff members. Ashley Cole, assistant national coach at England, was referred to the stands, among others. The second half was mainly against England. Spain was the parent, but simply did not score.

Madueke was brought in halfway through the second act. With the Chelsea attacker, England wanted to lurk on the counter, but the former PSV player was mainly forced to defend. In the closing minutes Madueke had a dot of a chance, but the Spanish goalkeeper miraculously managed to turn the ball. In the sixth minute of stoppage time, the final seemed to take a bizarre turn after the ball was put on the spot.

However, the penalty kick was saved by star James Trafford. An exceptional performance for the goalkeeper, who did not concede a goal throughout the tournament. Nothing happened in the last minute, meaning Young England will take over from Young Germany, who won the tournament in 2021.
