INDOSPORT.COM – Here are the results of the semifinals Euro 2020 between England vs Denmark. Had left, England to the final with a controversial penalty colored.
Euro 2020 aka the European Cup held the second match of the semifinals which brought together English vs Denmark, Thursday (08/07/21) at 02.00 am WIB.
Appearing at home at Wembley, England played aggressively since the game started. They even almost scored in the fifth minute if Raheem Sterling was not too late to welcome Harry Kane’s pass.
In the 13th minute, Sterling successfully penetrated the penalty box after receiving Kane’s bait. Unfortunately, his shot was still too weak.
Entering the twentieth minute, Denmark began to be able to offset the British pressure and launched several attacks.

In the 67th minute, coach Kasper Hjulmand replaced 3 players at once including Damsgaard and Dolberg. This move was then followed by Gareth Southgate who brought in Jack Grealish to replace Saka.
Seven minutes later, England asked for a penalty after Kane was brought down in the box. However, the referee ignored the request and instead awarded a free kick to Denmark.
England again threw away opportunities in the 80th minute after Calvin Phillips shot from outside the penalty box was wide of the target.
Until 2×45 minutes ended, no additional goals occurred. The game was continued into extra time.
