Watford received Arsenal this afternoon as part of the 28th day of the English Premier League. This very pleasant meeting ended in victory for the Gunners 2-3.

From the start of the game, Watford wasted no time to shine. After only 17 seconds of play, the Nigerian Emmanuel Dennis opened the scoring for the locals. But he is later reported in irregular position. In the fifth minute, on a perfect combination, Bukayo Saka finds Martin Odegaard in the penalty area. The Norwegian opens the scoring 0-1 for Arsenal.
Just six minutes later, Cucho Hernandez, on a serve from Kiko Femenia, restored parity for Watford. Half an hour into the game Saka scores on a serve from Alexandre Lacazette and allows the Gunners to join the locker room with a short advantage. Back from the locker room, Arsenal took off thanks to Gabriel Martinelli who scored the 1-3 goal. Watford now runs behind the equalizer, and manages to reduce the mark in the 87th minute thanks to Moussa Sissoko.
Arsenal move up to fourth place with 48 points. Watford remain 19th in the English Premier League with 19 points.
