The public health service (NHS) of England informed this Sunday that it will propose a fourth dose of the coronavirus vaccine those over 75 years of age and immunosuppressed people over 12 years of age.
Altogether, about five million people will be able to receive the vaccine and 600,000 will be encouraged to make an appointment this week to be vaccinated, according to the NHS.
“After the massive success of the (vaccination) deployment so far, we offer this spring to those over 75 and the most vulnerable booster dose to complete your protection against this virusHealth Minister Sajid Javid said in a statement.
In the UK, each of its four nations (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) decide your health policy.
On Englandeligible adults at the fourth dose will receive the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine. Adolescents from 12 to 18 years old will receive only the Pfizer.
