The England national team announced a list of player names prepared to fight Ukraine in the 2024 European Cup Qualification, (9/9), as well as meet Scotland in a friendly match. England National Team Coach, Gareth Southgatecalled 26 names of players to face the match.
Two players who haven’t played at all in the season, namely Harry Maguire and Kalvin Phillips, are still included in Southgate. Maguire left out at Manchester United. Meanwhile, Phillips found it difficult to compete in Manchester City’s midfield.
Names playing in the Premier League dominate the list of 26 player names. There are only four names playing outside England in the current Three Lions squad.
They are Fikayo Tomori who plays with AC Milan (Italy). Jude Bellingham is currently defending for Real Madrid (Spain). Harry Kane in uniform with Bayern Munich (Germany), and Jordan Henderson (Al-Ettifaq).
