England and USA back to back, Poland and Blues on deck… with Frankowski and Varane?

On Friday evening, the second day of group B of the 2022 World Cup ended with a 0-0 draw between England and the United States, after a game in which the Americans made a slightly better impression than the English, who are still favourites. A big day is planned for this Saturday.

After Tunisia-Australia from 11:00 (Playing sports) in France, Poland piston group of the Goal RC Przemyslaw Frankowski will play his second match. After a 0-0 draw against Mexico, the Poles will have to win against the surprising Saudi Arabia, who fell against Argentina on matchday one. Otherwise he would find himself in a delicate, though not necessarily hopeless, situation. Only came for the last quarter of an hour against Mexico, Przemyslaw Frankowski he will perhaps have the opportunity to profit from some adjustments after a disappointing collective performance by his selection on the first day. The match will be broadcast on Playing sports uniquely.

Then, at 5:00 pm (Playing sports et TF1), is the French team that will try to confirm its 4-1 victory against Australia against Denmark against which it remains 2 defeats in June and last September in the League of Nations. Saved against the Socceroos, Raphael Varano could make his competition debut this time around. The Manchester United defender, who had all but given up on this World Cup, should start in defense. The rearguard could be profoundly changed compared to the one started against Australia. Thus Théo Hernandez will logically replace his brother Lucas on the left, out of the competition, while Jules Koundé could take over from Benjamin Pavard, disappointing on the right. Returning to the central hinge, Raphaël Varane would take the place of Ibrahima Konaté to evolve alongside Dayot Upamecano. The rest of the team should not move, however, with Adrien Rabiot, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Antoine Griezmann putting Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé and Olivier Giroud into orbit. At 8 pm the day will end with Poland returning to group C with a very important Argentina-Mexico match, which will be featured on TF1 and BeIN Sports. After the defeat by Saudi Arabia, Lionel Messi’s Argentina will be under pressure. Below you will find all the results, upcoming matches and standings.
