Los Angeles/Biebergemünd – The success story of one of the now best-known brands from the Main-Kinzig district continues. Engelbert Strauss, which has its headquarters in tranquil Biebergemünd, is expanding to Los Angeles. The work clothing company has now announced this. The Hessians staged their arrival in California with a spectacular drone show.

Workwear from the Main-Kinzig district: Engelbert Strauss opens a “flagship store” in Los Angeles
Engelbert Strauss shared the video on Instagram. Numerous drones rose from the famous Santa Monica Pier and illuminated the ostrich logo over LA. The “Flagship Store,” as the new store in Venice is called by Henning Strauss, President of Engelbert Strauss, Inc., is located not far from the beach and celebrated its opening on October 26th with German beer and German food.
“With our start-up we are developing US workwear,” said Strauss. “Colors, functions, materials: We love the challenge of taking the special features of the US working world into account in our product design.” The legally independent US company Engelbert Strauss, Inc. has also been cooperating with the Stuntmen’s Association of Motion Pictures since 2018 Los Angeles.
The son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo played with his band Otto at the grand opening. The facade of the “flagship store” at 1320 Main Street was designed by the Californian street artist Jules Muck, who is known as the “Queen of Venice Beach”. A real flagship. (csa)
