From today evening (7/4) the ENFIA settlement statements for 2024 are posted. The settlement statements will be posted on myaade and the first of the 11 total monthly installments must be paid by April 30.
About 305,000 owners who had fully insured their property against natural disasters are entitled to a 10% discount. There is no discount for those who want to pay the entire debt at once.
For those who had no change in their property situation in 2023, there will be no surprises and the amount they will be asked to pay will be the same as last year.
What is changing is the discount entitled to about 305,000 owners who had fully insured their property against natural disasters. “This year taxpayers will see a 10% discount if they have insured their home against natural disasters, flood, fire, and this in the following years if the insurance is for at least 3 months”, point out tax experts according to ERT.
Those who have installed the new application of the independent public revenue authority will be able to receive notifications of ENFIA installments and pay them in real time, from their mobile, with IRIS or by card.
“We cannot make it more pleasant. We get our notifications in time in case we forget a dose or a statement”, as the commander of AADE, Giorgos Pitsilis, said.
The second fortnight of April is expected to start the process for submitting this year’s tax returns.

With the new ENFIA clearances:
- Taxpayers who had no change in their property status in 2023 will pay the same amount of ENFIA as they paid last year.
- Thousands of taxpayers will find that they will be asked to pay more tax on their real estate than in 2023. The ENFIA bill will be “inflated” for taxpayers who in 2023 acquired real estate by purchase, parental benefit, donation or inheritance, they acquired real rights to real estate (full or small ownership, usufruct), arranged arbitrary sites.
- Taxpayers who sold real estate or transferred real estate to their children in 2023 will find that the new ENFIA settlement will be lighter, reports ot.gr.
- A discount of up to 10% will be earned by the owners of approximately 305,000 homes who had insured their properties against earthquake, fire and flood in 2023.
- More than 1 million property owners will see the ENFIA tax cut by 50% or even zero, provided of course that they meet the income and property criteria provided by the current legislation.
- 100% discount. Households with three or more dependent children, as well as those with a disability rate of more than 80%, are 100% exempt from ENFIA payment if:
-The total taxable family income does not exceed 12,000 euros, increased by 1,000 euros for the spouse or common-law partner and each dependent member.
-The total area of the buildings does not exceed 150 sq.m. - Exemption. Property owners located in areas affected by natural disasters are exempted from paying ENFIA.
