The time has come for the revelations of the new ENFIA account. AADE is preparing to push the button to start sending liquidation notes to 7 million property owners.
The tax can be paid in 11 monthly installments with the first due on April 30, 2024.
How to find and print the statement
To find the ENFIA settlement statement for the year 2024 in the myAADE digital portal you should follow the following steps:
- Enter the myAADE home page.
- Click on the Applications window.
- Click on Popular Apps.
- Click on “E9/ENFIA statement”.
- The page with ENFIA and E9 will open. Access to the page is done with Taxis codes.
- You select the year 2024 and you see the ENFIA 2024 settlement statement.
With the new ENFIA clearances:
- Taxpayers who had no change in their property status in 2023 will pay the same amount of ENFIA as they paid last year.
- Thousands of taxpayers will find that they will be asked to pay more tax on their real estate than in 2023. The ENFIA bill will be “inflated” for taxpayers who in 2023 acquired real estate by purchase, parental benefit, donation or inheritance, they acquired real rights to real estate (full or small ownership, usufruct), arranged arbitrary sites.
- Taxpayers who sold real estate or transferred real estate to their children in 2023 will find that the new ENFIA settlement will be lighter, reports ot.gr.
- A discount of up to 10% will be earned by the owners of approximately 305,000 homes who had insured their properties against earthquake, fire and flood in 2023.
- More than 1 million property owners will see the ENFIA tax cut by 50% or even zero, provided of course that they meet the income and property criteria provided by the current legislation.
- 100% discount. Households with three or more dependent children, as well as those with a disability rate of more than 80%, are 100% exempt from ENFIA payment if:
-The total taxable family income does not exceed 12,000 euros, increased by 1,000 euros for the spouse or common-law partner and each dependent member.
-The total area of the buildings does not exceed 150 sq.m. - Exemption. Property owners located in areas affected by natural disasters are exempted from paying ENFIA.
