Climate Minister Jetten (D66) is concerned whether all gas storage facilities in Europe can be filled. Energy experts also have these concerns. They warn Jetten not to be naive: he must protect Dutch interests much more decisively, if necessary with more coal for power plants. Now that power stations do not burn coal, they consumed an extra 170,000 cubic meters of gas per hour in a week, including from Russia.
