Dusseldorf (dpa / lnw) – According to NRW Economics Minister Mona Neubaur (Greens), suppliers should pass on the lower wholesale gas and electricity prices to consumers in the future. “With the falling prices on the energy markets, price reductions for consumers must also occur in the medium term,” said Neubaur of the “Rheinische Post” (Wednesday). “What’s important now is a transparent approach to pricing. This can not only serve to protect consumers, but also strengthen trust in the supplier.” The high energy prices had weakened noticeably in the past few months.
