Water-saving shower heads can also significantly reduce consumption. The quantity that passes through the tap per minute is reduced, depending on the model, to six to eight liters of water per minute. Such inexpensive shower heads are relatively affordable and easy to grow at home. The same effect has a so-called flow limiter, which can be easily inserted between the fitting and the shower hose. This means that the water can be closed almost completely, for example during foaming, except for a slight trickle, but the temperature remains the same. Water consumption can be halved in this way, which also significantly reduces energy consumption.
