The PiS president wants to fight nepotism in the party’s ranks
During the last congress, PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński raised the issue of nepotism that emerged among some of the party’s members. Then she was accepted a resolution prohibiting the immediate family of PiS deputies and senators, incl. sitting on supervisory boards of State Treasury companies.
The resolution stipulates that “spouses, children, siblings and parents of deputies and senators of the Law and Justice party may not sit on supervisory boards of State Treasury companies”.
Moreover – according to the resolution – “it is forbidden to employ in State Treasury companies the members of the immediate family of deputies and senators of Law and Justice – that is, their spouses, children, siblings and parents”.
The resolution stated that the above restrictions do not apply to people who were “employed / work in the structures of State Treasury companies due to their competences, professional experience and at the same time an extraordinary life situation”.
