The line-up of the Audi R8 LMS GT4 of the Girly only team for the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS, formerly VLN) and the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring 2021 is complete. The team presented Christina Nielsen from Denmark as the fourth driver.

The 28-year-old, who was the first woman to win the GTD championship of the IMSA series in 2016 and 2017, will share the GT4 racing car on the Nordschleife with Carrie Schreiner, Pippa Mann and Celia Martin.

The Nordschleife program for the team used by the WS Racing team marks the return to motorsport for Nielsen after she had not contested any races in 2020 with the exception of the Daytona 24-hour race.

NASCAR driver Austin Dillon drives 24h Daytona for RWR Eurasia (January 2nd):

Another NASCAR driver, Austin Dillion, has secured a cockpit for the Daytona 24-hour race (January 30th-31st, 2021). The 30-year-old, who won the Daytona 500 in 2018, will drive the RWR Eurasia’s Ligier JS P217 Gibson in the LMP2 class. His teammates will be Salih Yoluc and Cody Ware, the fourth driver has not yet been determined.

Dillon is not the only representative from the NASCAR scene to compete in the Daytona 24h this year. The reigning cup champion Chase Elliott and the seven-time champion Jimmie Johnson had already confirmed their participation.
