Only two days ago, the world said goodbye to one of the most talented actors, whose incredible incarnations have left a lasting mark in the history of cinema. Although 88-year-old Jal-Paul Belmondo died peacefully within his home in Paris, according to his lawyer, without giving a specific reason for his death, he will never leave forever, as he will continue to lives in the hearts of people who have touched him or his work.
If a person’s life is really measured by the love he gives and receives in life, along with the moments that take his breath away, it can be said that that of the legendary artist passes fully, marked by strong feelings burning like an uncontrollable fire, which only the heart of a Frenchman is able to ignite. Although he is a child of divorced parents, who in the past found it difficult to find the strength to forgive the pain that came with their separation, he himself goes under the crown twice, and his romances are much more. In an interview given more than two decades ago, the “Professional” star admits that he had hundreds of short-lived outings that began either on set or at a glamorous secular event.
An interesting fact is that he first fell in love with a woman when he was only 6 years old. Then he sees his father’s housekeeper, who is a sculptor, posing naked for him. The sight provokes in him new and hitherto unknown tremors, which grow over time, turning him into a real Don Juan among the ladies. Belmondo has had an intimate relationship with a number of members of the fairer sex, some of which are more beautiful, but now we will recall those of them who occupy a truly special place in his history.
It makes sense to start with his first wife, the dancer Elodie Constantine, with whom he fell in love ten years earlier while studying dramatic art at the Paris Conservatory. After returning from the army, Jean-Paul decides to ask for her hand. Thus, in 1953, the two stood side by side in front of the marriage altar, exchanging oaths. She later gifted him with a total of three children – Patricia (1958), Florence (1960) and Paul (1963).

In 1966, however, the two ended their journey together, and the reason for this was the actor’s affair with his colleague Ursula Andres, who gained popularity as the most seductive girl of her time of the British agent James Bond. At the time, they were trying to keep their relationship a secret, but given their fame, their plan failed. Soon the press not only reveals the relationship between them, but also quite naturally makes it public. In fact, the two met during their joint work on the tape “The Troubles of a Chinese Man in China”, in which they are partners. The sparks between them are said to fly instantly and are so strong that Jean-Paul is willing to risk his family happiness, as it happens.
His relationship with Ursula lasted six years, but it would probably have ended sooner had it not been for the boundless jealousy he felt for her. His suspicions and doubts often lead him to postpone the filming of the films in which he participates so that he can personally attend her engagements in front of the camera. In cases where Andres’ schedule is free, Belmondo keeps her close to him, accompanying him everywhere.

“I had become his slave“, the actress stated candidly later.
Fortunately for her, their suffocating romance finally ended in 1972, when the object of his desires became the Italian Laura Antonelli, with whom they met the production “Re-marriage”. In addition to her performances on the big screen, the attractive brunette has won millions of men’s hearts with her photos for Playboy magazine. However, although they are attracted for a long time, they are rarely together … Each of them lives in a different place – he in Paris, she in Rome, and their love turns into constant phone conversations.
“We heard each other absolutely every day“says Laura.

When she died in 2015, her former partner spared no kind words for her:
“To me, she was an amazing companion, endowed with great charm. He was also a professional that everyone appreciated on set. I want to keep only these wonderful memories of her“says Jean-Paul.
The truth is that Bebel, as the press in his homeland calls him, is the one who decides to leave Laura to replace her with a new adventure in the face of the Brazilian model and singer Carlos Soto Major, who is significantly younger than him. However, she did not stay long next to him, as she was pushed into his heart by the ballerina Nati Tardivel, whom he met quite by accident at the French Open.

With her, he reminisces about the feeling of loving unreservedly and selflessly, so he decides to make her his second wife. They said “yes” to each other in 2002. Unfortunately, this story does not end happily either, although Nati gives him another daughter and is close to him, taking care of him in his most difficult moments after suffered several strokes, from which he managed to recover.

He met the finalist in the “Miss Belgium” contest, who, like his third half, is a former erotic model of “Playboy” – Barbara Gondolfi, Belmondo wants a divorce from Natalie in 2008. And he gets it … However, what he does not suspect is that his new wife is involved in illegal business and financial fraud together with her husband, the victim of which is the actor himself. Their relationship came to an end in 2012, when Bebel had to face the French and Belgian authorities to explain the ongoing investigation against her.
