JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The film Avatar was again named the best-selling film in the world after defeating Avengers: Endgame. Avatar has been playing back on the big screen in China since Friday (12/03/2021).
In just two days of screening, the film by James Cameron managed to earn up to 12.3 million dollars or valued at Rp. 177 billion.
The achievement also succeeded in catching up with the total revenue that Avengers: Endgame had made, which was valued at 2.797 billion dollars, where Avatar has now collected 2.802 billion dollars.

Avatar was named the best-selling film or with the largest income in the world after defeating Titanic after being released in 2010 for 19 years surviving with that title. The film Titanic was defeated by Avengers: Endgame and finally Avatar won the title again.
The main reason Avatar is able to catch up with income from Avengers: Endgame is none other than because of the re-release.
