The physical exhibition of the Hong Kong Flower Show has been suspended for three years due to the epidemic. It has reopened in Victoria Park for 10 consecutive days since last Friday, and will officially close tomorrow (19th). For those who have not visited it, remember to seize the opportunity during the weekend! The conference also announced today (18th) that about 3,000 pots of flowers will be distributed to the public after the flower show ends. First come, first served. Flower lovers remember not to miss this opportunity!
The Leisure and Cultural Services Department stated that the Flower Show is an annual flower viewing event. This year’s Flower Show will close at 9:00 pm tomorrow night. Members of the public are welcome to seize the last chance to enjoy the beauty of thousands of flowers blooming in Victoria Park. After the flower show, the organizer will distribute the flowers that are still in good condition and can be replanted to the public. It is estimated that about 3,000 pots will be distributed, depending on the state of the plants. Those who are interested can pick it up at Victoria Park South Pavilion Plaza (near the entrance of Sugar Street) at 10:00 am next Monday (20th). Each person is limited to one pot, first come first served, while stock lasts.
This year, the conference has arranged a number of cultural and entertainment activities during the exhibition period, including the Jockey Club School Children’s Drawing Competition, and the winning works will be exhibited at the venue. This year, the conference will also hold online voting for the “To Like Garden” in the 18 districts. Citizens can use the QR code provided at the venue or participate in the online voting to select the “To Like Garden” and have a chance to win free air tickets.
