YOROKOGUIA- The second edition of the West Africa Champions CUP, a competition organized by Guinean sports journalists, ended this Sunday, August 13, in Yorokoguia, in the prefecture of Dubréka, a locality located more than 50 KM from Conakry. It should be noted that this is a competition organized by Guinean sports journalists. Objective, to allow qualified clubs in the African campaign to better prepare.
This tournament, which saw the participation of six (6) clubs, saw Coton FC, Benin champions win (1-0) ahead of Bo Rangers of Sierra Leone.
The Beninese are therefore crowned Champions of this second edition.
It should be recalled that the Senegalese Génération foot and Casa Sports, however announced, were conspicuous by their absence. These two clubs did not make the trip.
The Coton foot club trained by Victor Zvunka, succeeds Horoya AC, the former club of the winner of the edition.
