ArenaNet has the release date of Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons announced. The third expansion for the still popular MMORPG will be available on February 28. All new features in the expansion are also explained in a new trailer.
End of Dragons takes place in Cantha, an Eastern-inspired region that was also part of the first Guild Wars. In addition, the expansion also adds new ways to transport you and a new mastery track. With that you build small robots called Jade Bots that you can use to revive players, among other things.
The new story focuses on the Aetherblades as the main enemies. That’s a faction of sky pirates that’s been popping up in the game since 2013.
Finally, ArenaNet reports that in addition to the standard edition of End of Dragons, there will also be a Deluxe Edition with an exclusive Cantha raptor skin and Shing Jea dragon boat skiff skin. The Ulimate Edition also gives you 4000 gems on top of that.
