End of compulsory vaccination as of May 11, 2023
- It was a long-awaited decision and it finally happens! The White House has announced the lifting of mandatory vaccination against Covid-19 as of May 11, 2023. Concretely, this lifting affects all federal employees. This also concerns all non-residents who wish to travel to the USA, for vacation or for business.
- If you have not been vaccinated against Covid-19, you can therefore travel freely to the United States from May 11, 2023 at midnight.
The Covid-19 page is finally turning!
- Since the reopening of the American borders in November 2021, the USA imposed on all international travelers to justify at least 2 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 in order to enter the United States.
- To justify this decision, the White House insists on the decline of Covid-19. “Since January 2021, deaths from COVID-19 have decreased by 95% and hospitalizations have decreased by nearly 91%,” the White House statement insists. The US presidency adds: “Globally, deaths from COVID-19 are at their lowest level since the start of the pandemic.”
Prepare your next trip to the USA
The constraint of vaccination against Covid-19 having been lifted, you can now prepare your trip to the United States in complete freedom. And we will of course be happy to help you!
