Through a video on social media, Rafa Nadal announced that he is retiring from the courts.
At the age of 38, having won 22 Grand Slams, the Spanish tennis player stated that: “I am here to announce that I am retiring from professional tennis. The reality is that I’ve had some tough years, especially the last two. I think now I can’t play without setting limits.”
Note that: “It’s a difficult decision that took me time, but in this life everything has a beginning and an end. I believe the time is right to bring an end to a career that has been long and far more successful than I could have ever imagined.”
