“I will leave the club at the end of the season,” surprises Jurgen Klopp. “I can understand it’s a shock, but I can explain it.”
“I love this club, I love the fans, I love the team, … I love everything about Liverpool.”
“Coaching Liverpool is a fairytale. One in which you give everything: 100,000 percent. And now I feel my energy tank is emptying.”
“I informed the club of my decision back in November.”
Klopp took charge of Liverpool in October 2015 and won everything there is to win: from the FA Cup to the Premier League to the Champions League.
“I’m doing well,” Jurgen Klopp reassures everyone. “Nobody has to worry.”
During his farewell tour, the German can still win quite a few trophies with Liverpool. His team is in the lead in the Premier League, the fourth round is coming up this weekend in the FA Cup and Liverpool will play the final of the League Cup against Chelsea at the end of next month.
In the Europa League, the English top club has qualified for the 1/8th finals.
