Encourages Nakes from COVID-19 Referral Hospital to Rotate Duties, South Tangerang Mayor: Already Tired

“Nakes are more tired, they are tired. Even though they don’t complain, I can see that they are tired,” said the Mayor of South Tangerang, Monday (28/6).

“We also encourage health workers for job rotation, shifting,” he added.

Meanwhile, Benyamin said that currently his party is having problems with the supply of oxygen cylinders for the North Serpong Hospital, South Tangerang.

“It’s difficult to prepare oxygen cylinders, refill them too,” he complained.

Second Wave of Corona

Furthermore, Benjamin said Tangsel City was being hit by the second wave of Corona since January 2021.

This is reflected in the daily number of positive COVID-19 cases in South Tangerang on Sunday (27/6/2021), which reached 285 cases.

This number is the second highest daily case of COVID-19 in South Tangerang. The highest record for COVID-19 cases in South Tangerang was on January 25, 2021, with 290 cases.

“You could say this is the second wave (of Corona) since last January, because only 285 cases were exposed a day on Sunday (27/6/2021),” he said.

Benyamin admitted, currently his party is still confused to identify the cause of the soaring cases which almost reached 300 cases in a day.

“When it comes to Eid holidays, the time span is far. I don’t understand what makes the spread so high,” he said.

“In terms of public compliance, it’s currently decreasing from 84 percent to 80 percent. We hoped for 90, but it fell,” said the South Tangerang Mayor.
