ENAH facilities evacuated due to false bomb threat

Mexico City. More than 500 students, teaching staff and administrative workers of the National School of Anthropology and History (ENAH) were evicted this morning, around 11:00 a.m., due to a false bomb threat in their facilities, reported on their social networks. the National Institute of Anthropology and History.

In an information card released by the capital’s Secretariat of Citizen Security, it was explained that “Uniforms assigned to the Auxiliary Police (PA), went to the ENAH facilities, where they responded to a report of the discovery of an explosive device, in the “Tlalpan mayor.”

“At the scene, the uniformed officers met with administrative staff of the campus, who informed the officers that they received a call warning of a possible bomb inside the school, for which the police activated the police action protocols and evacuated approximately to 500 people, including students and teachers.”

The authorities carried out tours to try to locate the explosive device, however, they did not find the object in question or indications that there was any material that put both students and other personnel at risk, after which they left the site.

On their social networks, authorities from the ENAH and the National Institute of Anthropology and History published messages announcing a cessation of activities in the morning, however, after the review, daily life resumed.
