A disturbing video in which a woman is seen shouting insults at artist Sam Smith in the middle of New York’s West Village is sparking outrage on social media.

“You should go to hell! Sam Smith must go to hell, you demonic bastard!” shouts the lady in the excerpt that has gone viral.
Sam Smith has been embroiled in controversy since performing the song Unholy at the Grammy Awards. His performance borrowed several elements associated with Satanism, which made conservative circles jump.
“Leave the kids alone, you sick bastard. Sam Smith is a pedophile. You brainwash the kids, you son of a bitch! You are evil, Sam Smith!” she insists.
In the video, Sam Smith does not seem to react to the insults of the passerby. They are, however, seen filming the troublemaker.
The artist has already confided to being the victim of harassment since they revealed their non-binarity publicly.
“Somebody already spat on me,” he confided in an interview.
