A crowd gathered in New York City to demonstrate their indignation at the death of George Floyd, this black man killed in Minneapolis on May 25.
The 27-second video, which was posted to Twitter, shows a New York City Police Department (NYPD) car in front of protesters who, behind metal barriers, threw objects at the vehicle. The latter then rushes over the barriers while overthrowing the demonstrators installed behind them.
You can hear people screaming as you see some of them jump on the car.
It is not known whether any protesters were injured.
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio mentioned in a press briefing that an investigation into the incident had been opened, while stressing that agents may not have had a choice.
