The first schedule of the film was shot in Ladakh and Delhi. South Indian production company Lyca is also involved in the production of the big screen film.

The team members announced the start of shooting for Empuran through a video prepared by combining the relevant scenes of the first part of Lucifer.
The screenplay of Empuran is by Murali Gopi. Manju Warrier and Tovino Thomas are other important actors. The film had a huge star cast including Indrajith, Manju Warrier, Vivek Oberoi, Tovino, Saikumar and Shajon. The film is expected to release in late 2024 or early 2025.
