LowSharjah is gearing up for a special exhibition of classic-vintage cars that are rare in the letter itself. The ‘Classic Cars Festival’ is organized by the Sharjah Department of Investment Development (Shurooq) in association with the Old Cars Club. The fair will feature more than 50 unique cars made by world-class brands and disappearing from the roads, from a private car collection.
Shurukh’s resorts in various parts of Sharjah are hosting a free exhibition as part of the ‘World’s Coolst Winter’ tourism campaign. The exhibition will be held at four venues on four different days. The first show of the classic cars will be on January 29 at Khor Fakkan Beach. It is also known as the ‘Korfakkan Beach Classics’.
The second screening will take place on February 19 at Al Badayr Retreat and the third on March 26 at the Al Bayt Hotel. The Classic Car Festival concludes on April 2 with an exhibition on Flag Island in downtown Sharjah. For the car lovers, especially those who love vintage cars, the Classic Car Festival is an opportunity to get up close and personal with the unique cars and get a picture.
The kings who once ruled the streets can be seen again with the same pride. Some may be more beautiful than before, like wine that grows stronger with age. Shurooq COO is happy to be back with the classic car festival that has filled the minds of motorists. Ahmad al-Khasir said.
Sharjah Old Cars Club Chairman Dr. Mohd. Ali Ahmed Abu Al Sood clarified. Admission to the show, which runs from 1pm to 6pm, is free. There are also playgrounds and restaurants for children. The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes.
