The EMPRESS hacker reported on the difficulties she encountered while cracking the updated Denuvo anti-piracy protection. She spoke about the problems in a post on Telegram.
According to EMPRESS, Denuvo v17 creates a lot of obstacles for hacking, even ignoring hardware limitations. The girl said that this made her very angry, so she began work on new technologies that would help bypass protection. She also vowed to “destroy” Denuvo.
EMPRESS is one of the most famous video game hackers. In 2022, only she managed to bypass Denuvo’s protection. She previously spoke about the problems with hacking the 16th version of the protection in Monster Hunter Rise, in which the developers additionally installed their own systems. EMPRESS also promised to hack Hogwarts Legacy in ten days – for this she postponed all her personal projects.
