The online workshop will allow this sector to learn about the benefits of the digital use of the BBVA México ‘app’, the interaction with the effects that the lack of control of money brings, the gamification of operations that will allow the next entrepreneur to use time and money through the opening of a digital account.
Digital content is aimed at improving the financial health of women entrepreneurs
According to the National Occupation and Employment Survey (ENOE), in Mexico, at the end of 2022, 24.2 million women are economically active, of which 56.1% of employed women are in the informal sector, which represents 13.3 million of the female population.
From 2008 to 2021, BBVA Mexico’s Financial Education training program managed to impact seven million people and by 2022 the volume increased to 14.3 million, implying a 104% growth in people’s participation. Likewise, people were able to have access to banking services and products suited to their needs.
BBVA México, through its Financial Education area, will continue to promote educational opportunities and alliances that are aligned with the strategic priorities of the financial group, which seeks the financial health of the female sector and promote inclusive social development.
