The Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) recently met with a group of the most prominent hospitality sector operators in Dubai, with the aim of formulating new plans to protect the environment, in line with the outcomes of “COP 28”, which the country embraced with great success.
The corporation provides environmentally friendly district cooling services to more than 21% of Dubai’s icons and tourist and entertainment destinations.

The meeting included discussions that highlighted ways to protect natural resources, raise the efficiency of water use in district cooling operations, and the latest preparatory maintenance methods to ensure the construction of a complete system and an integrated, reliable and sustainable chain in all stages of district cooling, and other operational issues.
