Thursday, August 3 in the morning, some of the employees of Saur, the company supplying drinking water in France and internationally and treating wastewater, notably in charge of the La Ferté-sous-Jouarre sector, went went on strike to denounce a certain number of elements that they consider to be dysfunctions within the structure.
“Reduction of staff, lack of resources… There are a whole bunch of things that mean that sustainability is no longer there,” explains Gilles Scrofani, operating agent for the drinking water service and one of the union leaders. . The strikers met Thursday morning in front of the Saur premisesboulevard Michaël Faradais in Serris, to publicly express their discontent. The CGT mobilized the company’s employees to express to management the uneasiness at work and the anger present among some of the staff. “Our management does not respect social dialogue and imposes very structuring choices for the company, without any logic,” thinks Gilles Scrofani, who also indicated that other parts of the company, in other regions of France , were also on strike.
