The employees of Bildungspool GmbH should receive their outstanding salaries in the next few days. According to the AK Tirol, the waiting time for salaries could be greatly reduced due to the interventions of the Chamber of Labor and the State of Tirol.
For some of the approximately 550 employees of the subsidiary that went bankrupt with GemNova, it would have been financially tight this summer. They had expected not to receive their outstanding money until the end of September. Now the money should be transferred to the accounts in the next few days. The money comes from the insolvency fee fund.
AK will file further claims
Tyrol’s AK President Erwin Zangerl was pleased with the quick solution and grateful to the insolvency administrator and Governor Anton Mattle (ÖVP) in a broadcast on Thursday. So there are currently no more residues. In September, however, the AK will register further claims such as August salaries, compensation for termination or holiday compensation.
