FOR MARKETING AND ORGANIZATION OF THE ENGLISH MASTER PROGRAM “LAND USE TRANSFORMATION”

The English-language, interdisciplinary master’s program “Land Use Transformation” (MLT) will start at Osnabrück University in the summer semester of 2026, which addresses challenges and solutions for the sustainable use of land and is intended to qualify students to design sustainable landscapes in the area of ​​climate protection, food security and biodiversity conservation .

As part of the independent processing of the project, the following tasks in particular are required:

  • Organization of the preparation phase including detailed planning of the curriculum with all responsible teachers, lesson planning, etc.,
  • Organization of marketing for the master’s program online and in presence at trade fairs, communication with external partners,
  • Supporting student applicants for the master’s program including organizing the selection process and onboarding,
  • continuous communicative support and moderation of the faculty working group on MLT, as well as cooperation with university-wide institutions and committees,
  • Supporting the International Faculty Office in implementing the university’s internationalization strategy at faculty level, including maintaining international university collaborations in the context of the international master’s degree.

Employment requirements:

  • Completed academic university studies, preferably in one of the faculty’s fields of study,
  • initial professional experience in an international context,
  • initial experience with the conception, coordination and marketing of study programs or comparable tasks,
  • independent working style, flexibility as well as strong teamwork and communication skills,
  • High language skills in English and knowledge of another foreign language.

The employment takes place with half of the regular working hours as a substitute. The need for representation is expected to last for one year. Remuneration is based on pay group 13 of TV-L. Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences reserves the right to conduct the selection interviews in person or online.
