The two technology transfer centers of the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences for Artificial Intelligence / Data Analytics in Günzburg and Smart Production / Logistics in Leipheim organize the transfer of knowledge to regional companies through joint research projects, consulting, employee training or networking events.

The following position is to be filled at the earliest possible date, limited until 30 June 2028, centrally located in the Project Development, Transfer and Cooperation Department:

Your tasks

  • You develop marketing strategies/plans to promote the technology transfer centers’ offerings and implement them accordingly
  • They organize networking events and workshops to promote connections with companies, other research institutions and society in order to attract potential partners
  • You will contact potential regional partners and support the sales of transfer and research services
  • You create marketing and sales materials such as brochures, flyers and presentations
  • You will manage the website and social media channels of the technology transfer centers and create corresponding content
  • They increase the visibility of the technology transfer centers by using marketing channels such as social media, email marketing and online advertising
  • You handle press inquiries about the technology transfer centers
  • You maintain the CRM system and create evaluations for sales activities

The position is based in Neu-Ulm, but regular on-site exchanges at the Leipheim and Günzburg locations are required to ensure a smooth flow of information and insight into local conditions.

Your profile

  • You have completed a degree in (business) information technology, media / communication sciences, business administration with a focus on marketing and sales or a comparable course of study
  • You have relevant professional experience in marketing, ideally in the university / technology transfer environment or in the service sector
  • You have in-depth knowledge of marketing strategy and digital marketing methods and tools
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and oral
  • Ideally, you have experience in using common performance marketing tools (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • You have design knowledge in the areas of customer segmentation and campaign management
  • You have very good knowledge of MS Office products
  • You have a proactive approach to work and identify possible topics independently and purposefully
  • You are characterized by strong teamwork skills in an interdisciplinary environment
  • You are enthusiastic about technology, innovation and knowledge transfer between academia and industry

Your remuneration is based on pay group 10 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L).
