– The infected person has been placed in isolation and 15 close contacts have been quarantined from tonight, Benz says.

The infection tracking has just started and it is unclear how many people will be told to go in the waiting quarantine until the situation is more clarified.

– We take this very seriously and follow the advice we have received from the municipal chief physician and the infection tracking team. We also follow up our employees, says Ronny Sigbjørnsen, owner of McDonalds at Sola.

– We have a stand by emergency group that we are now deploying while our employees are in quarantine.

McDonalds has been open, but closed early Sunday to get an overview of the situation. We have washed down and open as usual on Monday, says Ronny Sigbjørnsen, owner of McDonalds at Sola.

Infection control doctor Roma Benz assumes that the place is thoroughly washed down.

As part of the further infection control measures, the municipal chief physician at Sola requests that customers pay close attention to their own health and any symptoms during the following periods:

· Tuesday 16 March at 15: 00-22: 00

· Wednesday 17 March at 08: 30-16: 30

· Thursday 18 March at 08: 30-16: 30

· Friday, March 19 at 10.00-17: 30

– The symptoms of covid-19 can be vague and mild. It is important that we all have a low threshold for seeking testing, says on-duty municipal chief physician Roman Benz.
